Stairs

So she is now very proficient at going up the stairs. Knee, foot, knee, foot... it's her new favorite evening game. She can go all the way from the basement to the top floor without a pause. She can even go back down, a bit, by sitting down, putting her feet over the edge, and standing up. So far she seems inclined to wait until one of us comes over and watches her before she takes off...

Shoes are the topic of conversation right now. She plays with them, tries to put them on, then has one of us put them on, then gets upset when they're on and takes them back off again. Unfortunately the little boots I bought her seem to be too small already (?) so hopefully they'll let us trade them in for something bigger.

Bill was the designated babysitter for most of today. Which didn't go so well in the morning - I had to be in for an early talk, and so we didn't do the usual breakfast routine. Apparently Isabella got through breakfast and then just melted down. So no music class, again. Sigh. But she was ok for most of the rest of the day. We each caught one poop today (yay!) which is a good thing, because poopy diapers at work are a pain. She gave me plenty of warning...

I'm sorting through all of her clothes right now, which is a bit challenging when she just keeps taking them back out again. The box of clothes mom sent arrived. Have gotten as far as getting a pair of shoes out (which had to be put on little feet).
