We spent Easter Sunday with Molly and her parents - who very kindly made Easter brunch and scattered eggs around their yard. Here's Molly and Odie (the dog) and Isabella out for a walk in their Easter finery (both dresses are Molly's).
We had brunch, during which Ian downed an entire bowl full of carrot soup. He's turning into quite the chow hound, which is great for mom, since I don't have to go down and nurse twice a day anymore (yay!).
Our little diva (Molly's Fancy Nancy dress). Out collecting eggs. There were a *lot* of eggs - so many that the girls got "egged" out and we had to collect the rest. The biggest hit were the rings (Isabella's taken to wearing one most of the time) and the bracelets. The sunglasses were a big hit as well.
We sat out back and the girls chased bubbles while Ian tried to grab everything and anything. We made a trip down to the park, which ended rather abruptly because we forgot to take the girls to the potty before we left (oops).
Isabella and Molly are "best buddies" - her parents have been every so kind to us and have held many play dates so we could get stuff done. They even took Ian for us for an evening so we could see "Wait, wait, don't tell me!" live.
Now Isabella keeps asking if she can have a play date - and "If I'm at Molly's and she gets a paci then I can have one too". Mysteriously, all the pacis at our house have "disappeared".
Ian has taken to the eating thing like you wouldn't believe. You also wouldn't believe how *messy* he is compared to Isabella. Food everywhere. Teeth everywhere too - the top teeth have come in, looking particularly funny because they're a bit on the big side.
