Our little dancer is becoming quite the dancer - she knows plies, 1st through 5th, arabesques, and how to jump quietly. She's now taking dance classes twice a week, and seems to be enjoying them a lot. And, of course, all the accessories. I got her a couple new ballet outfits (the old one was getting too small) which of course she wore non-stop for several days. I'm sure she'll be asking for her own tutu at some point soon. Actually got to watch her last weekend, pretending to be a dinosaur.

Her other new thing is to have her hair braided before bed time. This is a good thing, since it leaves her hair a bit easier to brush in the morning. Poor dad has to figure out how to braid, though...

Ian goes through stuffed animal phases. He can now hold four of them at the same time. He gets one, then another, and another... and somehow manages to keep adding them in. He'll pick them all up upstairs, get to the top of the stairs and realize that he can't make it down the stairs with all of them, so he gives them all to you to carry, goes down the stairs, then gets them all back again.

His latest stair trick is to say "me go first" and make you stay at the top (or bottom) until he's done doing down (or up). Very bossy. He's also gotten really good at "helping" with the laundry - he does the spraying. Which means our clothes are getting a lot cleaner. The trick is to keep him from putting clean clothes back in the wash.
