Thanksgiving was pretty mellow, except for mom getting the stomach flu. Poor dad had to cook the turkey. Caitlin and Denis came over, bringing yummy bread pudding. Isabella had fun playing with the ladybug, pushing it back and forth from Caitlin to Denis. Then Caitlin would spin her around in circles.
Friday was nice enough that we went to the zoo, first checking that the carousel was open. Rode it twice. Then went to see the hippos, which were a big hit (they swim right by the glass).
Saturday we didn't do much but go to the park and the library. Nice to get some new books, and they had Fix it duck. Sunday it had snowed, and we went down to the corner garden store to get the tree. Isabella didn't want to give up her seat in the red wagon to put the tree in.

Gran knitted Isabella a skirt, which she wore for two days straight. We'll have to get some tights for her to wear underneath it, since it's so cold out at the moment.
She's figured out how to put the DVD in the player and turn it on. We get constant requests for Jungle Book and Winnie the Pooh. She now knows most of the pieces, even though she's only seen it a few times. "Mowgli taken by monkeys". Sleep in a tree. See the elephants marching. See Mowgli run away. See Winnie the Pooh get muddy. Winnie the Pooh get stuck.
