The flight went well, even though we were delayed for half an hour or so. She didn't take a nap, but that wasn't much of a surprise. We had a long layover in LA, and she spent most of the time running around in circles at high speed, chased by dad. She liked the "scary hats" people were wearing (santa claus hats).
There was no end of food, and Isabella had no problems eating lots of it. Including four christmas cookies at Peggy and Gerry's.
Isabella's favorite toy so far is probably the playdoh. She can actually squish it out of the garlic press all by herself, but can't quite do the rolling pin or the other squeezy thing. She has also been playing with her puzzle (more interested in opening and closing the box than the puzzle itself) and with monster. She can stick the pieces on the monster, then asks you to have monster make a crying face. She then gives monster a hug.
Cori's house is officially "Casper doggie's house". Although Isabella still won't let Casper near ("No licking! Casper lie down!"). No problems with petting Magic, though. There was a cute moment when Isabella looked at Magic's back end and said "Magic no has a tail!".
We're getting closer to potty trained - she went three days with no accidents, including the plane ride home. And she's asking now. But we had a few accidents today, oddly enough after she got herself on the potty all by herself.
On the flight home she slept most of the long leg home, with her head on my leg. Must have been tired.
