Daycare had an inauguration party, so Isabella got to wear her pretty frock for the occasion. She's quite attached to her frock, and wanted to wear it all day long. They also had balloons at the party - took me awhile to realize that when she was asking for "kabloons" that she wanted a balloon. After much negotiation, and looking in closets for kabloons, we agreed that we would wait until tomorrow and get one from daycare. Lynn kindly gave us one to take home, and it's been living in the car since then.
She can now put on her socks all by herself. And insists that she do so. She can actually get her underwear on, too, although half the time they end up on backwards. She can pull them up and down, though, which makes getting on and off the potty a bit easier.

She woke up Saturday morning and wanted Muffins. So we made muffins. She helped empty out the bag and stir the mix. Then proceeded to eat most of them.
She helps stir the hot chocolate and gets her own oranges, and wants to peel the plastic off the candy canes. She's also learning how to turn clothes right side out. And getting in and out of the car and car seat all by herself. She can almost get a cd in the player and make it go all by herself as well - her favorite is "hippo in the bathtub". She knows which cd it is and asks for it by name.

Baby doll's been doing more things too, like sitting on the potty and riding on zebra. She brought baby doll to the Music class and was having baby clap her hands and tap her feet. This was actually the first time she really participated - following along with the motions. I've also caught her singing along to the cd in the car, and she likes dancing. Although that often seems to involve mom carrying her around while she waves her scarf.
She's been really good about going up and down the stairs by herself.
She said "I love you mommy" tonight for the first time. Followed by "I love the towel", so there you go.
