More beach!

Generic beach picture, since we forgot the camera... went to Manressa, which is a walk-in only campsite. In many ways, much better than New Brighton - no highway one noise, and no RVs. And tons and tons of kids - oh, and some midnight serenading as well. Ian's newest phrase is "go beach, mommy!" Getting everything to the site was challenging, since we had to keep an eye on the kids at the same time. Fortunately, there was a water source next to the campsite, and some friendly neighbors, so they kept an eye on the kids while they got soaking wet.

We had a splendid time hanging out at the beach, even managed a bit of boogie boarding! Sat evening we watched a frightening number of birds land on the water - pelicans plummeting into the sea, other birds following.

Ian's become a 2 stuffed animal carrying child - ducky and tiger. When he isn't trying to take Isabella's kitty cat or bunny. His arms aren't quite big enough to hold three of them, but he tries. He's slowly becoming a less messy eater - even complains, now, when he gets food on himself. Still doesn't like the washcloth, though.
