San Jose and Happy hollow

Mom had a few days in Mt. View for a Google faculty summit, so we brought the kids down to visit grandma. They got to play at the park and with the IPad and Isabella painted lots of pictures. Mom & dad had a night out, which included some gelato and a trip to Fry's to look for new phones.

We made the mistake of taking the kids to the tile store. Awesome tile, but hard to concentrate with two whining kids. But we followed it up with a trip to Happy Hollow. Ian was finally big enough to ride all but the frog jumper. The biggest hit was the bowl swing, though. Danny, sadly, was closed for the day. We managed to escape without a trip on the roller coaster.

Ian really wanted to see a snake. We looked through all if the animals, but it turns out they don't have snakes. And, of course, we couldn't escape without face paint.

The pretty good south american food place had an awesome addition - a bouncy castle. So we could eat in peace while the kids got tired.
