Nov. 20-Dec 1st

Cori was here, magically making everything get done while I snoozed and nursed the day away. Can't remember much, except for trying to figure out which combination of pillows worked the best. Watched all of the Firefly episodes. Actually had an hour or so of happy baby each
day, although lots of fussing and very slow to go to sleep. Thankfully, Bill would take her while I slept. Many, many hours of inconsolable crying in the evenings. Thank heavens for basements -
a bit of sound muffling.

Got Tia back from the vet. Tia decided that Cori was the next best thing since sliced bread and ignored me. Tia seems interested in Isabella, but no real signs of jealousy.

Went for my first (short) walk. Made it half way around the block. Isabella made it 2 minutes in the stroller before getting unhappy... Next day, made it the 2 blocks to the local park. Sat in the sun for awhile. It's so nice, we can sit out on the deck.

Very bad ice storm. Fortunately, our power didn't go out. Cori and I went down to Kangaroo Kids, where there was only one other person who braved the storm. Still, nice to get out! Isabella slept most of the time, except the car ride which made her very unhappy.

Read books. Listened to the radio. Tried to listen to a book on tape, but the cd player upstairs doesn't work. Backside getting sore from sitting and nursing/sleeping all the time. Several naps on the couch with child.

Isabella had her first checkup. All is well; she regained her birth weight in under one week. She cried through her entire checkup... forgot the diaper bag, not for the first time.
