A great deal of fun was had throwing rocks into
the lake. Rocks, sticks, whatever she could find. And, of course, splashies.
We saw a horse, which went galloping around, which was very exciting ("horsie running").
Before we went down to the lake we stopped for some playing in the park and some fish and chips. There was a charity shop, in which we found a couple bouncy balls. They became Isabella's constant companions for the next couple of days. She didn't seem too interested in throwing them, most of the time, but she really liked carrying them around.
There was a sheep gate on the way to the lake. I went through it, then Isabella went through it by herself. She even figured out that she had to push the gate back! Unfortunately, I missed the camera button on her first time through, so this is going back out the gate.
We went over to visit Mark one evening while Lindsay was out (and Ailsa was suppose to be asleep). They have a dog and two cats ("sleeping pussy cat" and the other one). She finally warmed up to the dog, who was big and friendly. But she was very bossy - when the dog would get too close, Isabella would order "doggie sleeping!" (the bed was just outside the door). The second time we visited she actually petted the doggie.
