Our last weekend as a three-some we went down to the botanical garden. Isabella is here practicing her "Titanic" look on the sheep sculpture. She is wearing her new "green frock with pockets" which has become her favorite dress. It's a size 5t, but it seems to fit ok. We picked it up at Kangaroo kids, along with some winter clothes for her. We also stopped by the used book store to re-stock the available reading material. Kangaroo kids has a little play area so we had to pry her out of it to go to the bookstore. She actually remembered the bookstore - it was the one with the scary bathroom (loud fan). Picked up some new used books for her, her favorite of which is the Bumpy Bus Ride.

Ok, now that kid # 2 is here, we can document just how much space he took up in mom's tummy. I was trying to cool my poor swollen feet down and Isabella, of course, and to come over and do the same thing.
We played with the boats again, although it was pretty crowded so it was hard to get a turn.

Turns out you can buy fish food at the store on the way in (we'd forgotten quarters). So we walked all the way down to the bridge (no stroller - she's quite capable of walking that far now, with some coaxing...) She fed lots of fish, one pellet at a time. Some of those fish are getting really, really big.

This is her balloon from the going away party at her old day care. It lasted almost a week! We're very sad to be leaving Lynn & Quita, but she's settled into her new day care fairly quickly. She does tend to come home a bit more wired than before - combination of new exciting day care and pending new arrival, I suspect. She misses Katie, who was one of the few kids who didn't move with all the other kids. She's one of the oldest kids in the room, so I'm sure she's been bossing them all around. She knows that the stop sign means the loft area is closed (she told me it was closed on the second day when I was dropping her off, but mom didn't know about the stop sign - so Carrie explained). She also knows the daily routine now - so when Grandpa and Nana dropped her off a bit late, she knows where the class has gone to. She also really likes Snickers the dog who is, apparently, a boy doggie.
