Molly's B-day party

Molly had her birthday party at the Magic House. This is Kaitlyn, Isabella, and Hazel. Since it was a party Isabella got to wear her princess frock (we can't get it off her) although I made her change into other clothes for running around.

The first thing they made was crowns (it was a Fancy Nancy theme). Then they played a version of Bingo. Isabella got the concept of matching pictures to words, but wasn't as clear on the whole Bingo part. Then it was cupcakes and off to play. Well, Jen was very clever and brought Real Food, so it was actually off to eat some real food and then go play.

Three's a company... Molly, Isabella and Kaitlyn, sitting on a bean stalk. They all climbed up to the top with no hesitation. Bit worrying for yours truly, who was holding Ian and couldn't go in after them, but everyone got down fine.

Bill had stay at home to work (he was suppose to have been flying to DC, but his flight was canceled. Ian's getting heavy and squiggly enough that it's challenging to hold him, even in the sling. But he was happy for the most part, slept some, and there were lots of other adults around.

We'd actually been to the Magic House just the previous weekend with a new faculty member and their son. Ran into Molly there - so Isabella ran around like crazy with Molly and we just had to sit with Ian. They're actually playing with the store stuff now, dishing out ice cream and what not.

The princess fishes - she was doing this all by herself. She'd pick up the rod, get a couple fish, then go put them in the top pool. She spent a long time doing this, so Ian and I just sat and watched. She was even really good about sharing her fishing rod with other people.

It was pretty quiet because it was Superbowl weekend. Which was a good thing - trying to keep track of everyone with more crowds would have been difficult.

It was fun watching the girls run around after each other. We had a bathroom moment - we ended up in the family bathroom with four girls and their mom's. Took a bit of time, but everyone wanted to go!
