So someone was procrastinating before going to bed, and wandered into the back bedroom. I was getting her pajamas out of the laundry basket, and she took them from me and put them in the drawer in the dresser. Then she got the crib sheet and my pants and did the same thing... Even figured out that she had to push on the clothes to get the drawer to actually close. She is imitating more and more. She took great delight in getting us to open the bathroom door (saying "help me") so that she could get some toilet paper, blow her nose on it, hold it so I could blow my nose, then take it to the garbage can and put it in.
She's also getting better about putting her own clothes on. She almost managed to get her foot into her pants by herself. And she did manage to get her feet into dad's pants, although had a bit of trouble getting them fastened.
We went to Utah last weekend to go snow boarding. Our friend Jay had a condo, so we just crashed with him. Found out the Canyons will take kids out as young as two and stand them up on skis... here we are waiting for the rental car. A certain someone will no longer fit so comfortably in the big red suitcase...We had Isabella in the day care at Deer Valley (a very fru-fru ski resort). They have some 30 people working there, and maybe a hundred kids, and Isabella still got noticed as the "baby who says thank you". Sigh. I guess they don't normally have 15 month old babies speaking quite so clearly. I think she had a pretty good time there, but she was really, really unhappy when we left. And by the third day she'd figured out that we were going to leave her *before* we got all the way in. As soon as we'd walk in to pick her up after day care she'd walk to her cubby, point at it, and say "jacket". Clearly quite ready to go home!

She's been playing with my big plastic horses in the mornings. I showed her how to make them go "clump clump". Generalization at work - she got the lego horse out of the box and made it go clump clump all over!
New/favorite words: Snow, help me, cookie, ivy (I have no idea), car, icky.

While dad went grocery shopping Wednesday night we practiced driving in the car. She managed to change the clock, change the radio station, turn on the windshield wipers, the turn signals, and the fan. Fortunately, she did not find the horn.
Sleep report: Except for one night in Utah, when we think she had tummy trouble, only waking up once! And two nights ago she slept all the way through the night for maybe the fifth time. She now goes to sleep just like that, although naps can still be a bit tricky. She had three naps today, and two or three on Friday - we think she may have something because she's randomly crying throughout the day. May be getting the last couple teeth, too - lots of fingers in the mouth.
EC report: The babysitter put her on the potty throughout the day Friday - and she went every time! Only had two dirty diapers, one after she woke up from her second nap. We've had a few cues (going into the bathroom or getting the potty) and she's getting pretty good about telling us if she doesn't have to go. Ok, she throws a fit if you try to take her when she doesn't have to go... she's also back to using the little potty again.
Got new clothes (thanks Mom & Palon!) which included new socks, which she desperately needs. They actually fit, unlike the socks we keep trying to cram onto her feet... And a new pair of shoes for when she outgrows this pair, which she almost has. She's still in 12 month clothes, but they're getting a bit short on her.
She's been playing hall monitor at day care - putting blankets back on beds, toys away, handing toys to the little babies. Oh, and I've heard her call some of the babies (Roby, Aubry) by name.
One other fun thing she was doing for a while was collecting a bunch of stuff, like stuffed animals or toys, then piling them up in my lap, then trying to sit in my lap.
