Bye bye!

Some words I forgot to mention last time... Eyes, nose, mouth, Icky (she likes that one), Jacket, hat, up and down, help me (sort of), mom's tea (best guess - she says it when picking up a mug).

We've been doing baby aerobics. She pushes us over, then craws up onto our chest and makes us sit up. Up, down. Bounce on the legs.

More imitation: Earplugs - she likes to put them in our ears and take them back out again, or she puts them in her own ears.

Laundry chute - she helps us throw clothes in. Then goes and fetches all of the clothes on the floor to go in, too. And I occasionally throw clothes down the stairs rather than carry them - she did that too, saying bye-bye the entire time.

We went and bought a small table, chairs, and a rocking chair for her. Since she likes to stand on the big people chairs and play on the table, we figured this would be a safer alternative. Of course, the first thing she does is stand in the chair and try to push it over...

We also got some washable markers and crayons. She seems more intent on getting them in and out of the box then drawing with them, though. Although she did mange to cover herself (and me) in purple. We were down at the toy store and the most fascinating thing was the awful dolls dressed up like tramps. Sigh. She kept pulling them off and saying "baby". Of course, she points at the angel on her pink pajamas and says "baby" as well, so there you go...

She seems quite delighted with her ability to name things. She was saying "Aubrey" pretty clearly at day care (one of the other babies). And she was naming noses and mouths at 6:30 this morning...

Sleep is still going well - she goes out on her own and only wakes up once. Although morning seems to be 6 something... Sigh. Although it's nice because we can get her to day care by 9 and pick her up by 5, which is a little nicer because we don't have to rush to get her fed and in bed by 7:30.

I'm going to try not going down and nursing, since she blew me off the last couple times. I think she'll be fine, and she might take a longer nap, which would be good (usually she only takes an hour nap, which isn't quite enough). Apparently she did go looking for me around 3 or 4, but otherwise was fine.
