Jan 22nd

Fell asleep on my arm in the morning, which in turn fell asleep. She looks funny with her head tilted sideways and her feet up in the air. She's started kicking a lot in her sleep and when trying to nurse. Very irritating. And she's waking up every two hours.

Jan 23rd

Robyn took her at work, which gave me two free hands. Siggraph paper is in. Nearly ran out of diapers - doesn't help that she doesn't want to pee in the potty. Did get her to poop in the sink at work (don't tell!) She's starting to grab my finger, but is still not interested in grabbing toys. Mis-judged when she was done pooping in the morning; good excuse for changing the sheets (managed to squeeze one off between the potty and the diaper).

Jan 24th

I like elastic loin cloth look. Very handy for doing three back-to-back diaper changes (yes, I did ask if she wanted to go between them).

Jan 25th

Very quiet night - pooped right on schedule, then right back to sleep. Early to work. Tim's lunch at Blueberry hill. Did fairly well, but is now over-tired. Pooped at work, too!

Jan 26th

Pretty good night last night, although had to get up way too early for 8AM meeting. Very difficult to get everyone out the door in time. Sam Fox center is very echoy, which did not help. Nobody seemed too upset that I brought Isabella - Bill spent an hour standing outside with her talking to Tom. Then had lunch with Mary and company - she was pretty well-behaved and the waiter thought it was cool that I was breastfeeding. Shelly put her to sleep for me and she slept for a good couple hours. Went in for her 2 month appointment, which was slightly less noisy than the last one. Until the shots. Poor thing. She's 10lbs, grew 10 centimeters, and is healthy. Actually fell asleep nursing at night.

Jan 27th

Long night last night because of the shots - poor thing was burning up, nursing every hour, and pooping all night (one pee/poop on diaper, all others caught). Missed two big poops this morning.

Jan 28th

Waaay too cold to go outside. Happy in the morning, not so happy in the evening - back to poopy gas. Took a long time to go to sleep, then nursed every hour from 3 in the morning on. Had a funny moment when birdie pooped on the floor, followed by Isabella peeing on me...

Jan 29th.

Longish day - very fussy after she woke up at noon. Managed to pump an entire ounce! We both took naps (separately) while she slept. Went to Pilates. Went to bed very early (8ish) and nursed (eventually) to sleep.

Jan 30th

Up every hour after 1 again, but at least the poopy gas is gone. Caught a poop in the bathroom sink, although it didn't stop her from going again a bit later. Set up the playmat at work; she likes
the mirror.

Jan 31st

Longer sleep time at night. Met with Igor - she was good through the entire meeting. Left her with Bill for three whole hours while I went climbing! She's starting to grab things. She can ding the bell on the toy.
