Feb 1st-7th

Feb 1st

Went to Kangaroo kids - Beth was there with Charlotte. Kept Isabella up too long - she slept on the car ride home and to pick up Bill - but then wouldn't settle. Ended up in the freezing basement very hungry for two hours. Ate some cheese-filled pasta; I think it caused some bubbly poop that night.

Feb 2nd

Wouldn't nurse to sleep and thrashed a lot. Had to get up at 5 and do the basement thing. Caught two double-shot poops! She's starting to grab toys and turn pages.

Feb 3rd

Feb 4th

Went climbing. Didn't quite get enough sleep before getting to the gym, so she fell asleep again later. Double-shots all day long. Lots of awake time, long nap in the evening.

Feb 5th

Long night - awake every hour. Lots of thrashing. Thicker poops. Bad case of cradle cap.

Feb 6th

Mostly happy baby today. Cradle cap looks worse, particularly with the added sheen of olive oil. Tried a bath, but she pooped in the bath before we got around to washing her head.

Feb 7th

Slept well after daddy took her. Tried to get her to sleep myself, but only worked for a few hours. Tried her in pants; mis-read a fuss and promptly got peed on. The pants do a wonderful job of funnelling the pee down a leg and onto me. Was off by two minutes all evening - I think the sink is too much fun.
