We went down to the climbing gym, and she actually climbed some on the walls. And spent most of the time running around at high speed. Upstairs. Downstairs. See mommy climb. Maybe a bit too much chocolate milk...
We went down to Laurimer sculpture for a picnic after climbing. Mom tried to take a nap with a bit of help from Isabella. She wanted to walk. And walk. And walk. Way too much chocolate milk.
She's been "reading" in the car again. And singing along to songs. And demanding to change the songs. She can actually sing pieces of several songs - itsy bitsy spider, Twinkle twinkle little star, Ring around the Rosie.
There was a sculpture that doubled as a slide. We also did some swinging around and around. And more walking. There's a sculpture in the park that's two slides that touch. With a big, nasty sign saying "no climbing on the sculpture. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law". Try explaining that one to a two year old.
They did, however, have one of the large ceramic sculptures that could be climbed on. Big pussy cat. Meow.
Apparently someone bit Isabella at day care today. She has a big, bruised mark on her arm. Doesn't seem bothered by it, although she was hyper again this evening. We rode around on her new tricycle a bit, then she kind of vibrated through dinner. She's getting pretty good at drinking from a cup.
Forgot to mention - she was so wound up that I thought I'd try some "baby crack". We got a Winnie the Pooh DVD from the library. So I put it on (after accidentally teaching her to say "try some baby crack" - hope she doesn't repeat that one at day care...) She danced to the music, and went up to the TV to say "hello pooh!" "hello piglet!". She seemed pretty disappointed that they didn't say hello back. But she kept trying for several minutes. And she danced along with owl. At some point she accidently turned off the TV, and then was busy looking behind the TV for where they all went... Then she lost interest and went back to playing with mom's brushes and the beads in the cup. Ah well.
